Just in time for the holidays, VSC supports Right to Play

Happy Holidays from VSC!

right to play

In the spirit of the Holiday’s, Vaughan Soccer Club is pairing up with the renown international charity, Right to Play, to help rebuild the lives of refugee children through the power of play.

VSC very recently supported a similar campaign called World At Play, where over 700 children and adults, 160 of which were refugees, were empowered through the power of play. We are continuing this work here in Toronto and have a great event organized for our VSC youth teams.

Thanks to Vaughan Soccer from World at Play

Every so often, Vaughan Soccer Club reaches out to our members and community to support disadvantaged youth abroad, particularly those who face serious financial challenges. World at Play's: Colm Vance recently sent his appreciation for Vaughan Soccer’s support. World at Play is a charity that works to inspire and develop young people through sport and play. In support of their program, Vaughan Soccer donated used soccer balls and equipment and have received some images and video of the event. Colm sends their appreciation, as their mission in the Balkans comes to a successful end! World at Play's vision is to ensure that every young person has access to sport, enable them to build their confidence, develop important life skills, such as communication, teamwork and self-awareness.

Our efforts help them to increase their cross-cultural awareness and understanding, in return they sent us their love from Pristina!

‘THANK-YOU for not only running a fantastic soccer program in Canada, but also for supporting sport and play across the globe!’ said Colm Vance
