Vaughan Soccer Club does it again! We are offering a soccer program to children with special needs. Space is very limited and children will be accepted into the program on a first come first serve basis. For registration dates and program details please see our Player Registration Information Sheet for additional info as well as the other important documents/forms below.
The program is still being offered free of charge to any special needs child between the ages of 5 and 15 who would like to participate in this wonderful soccer program.
Our SNP soccer program is held once a week on Sunday mornings for 8 weeks (no sessions will be held during long weekends). We will require many volunteers to be “Big Buddies” to the kids that participating in this program. We are hoping for a minimum of 60 volunteers. There will be a ratio of one volunteer with every special needs child. All volunteers will receive community service hours/reference letter at the completion of the program.
As this program is growing we need as many volunteers as possible, keeping that in mind we will be unable to guarantee that friends who are volunteering together will be assigned to the same child. Please do not let this discourage you from volunteering, remember that we will all be on the same field at the same time and we will all be working together to make this a great experience for the children.
WHEN DOES REGISTRATION BEGIN?: REGISTRATION BEGINS TUESDAY FEBRUARY 20, 2018 AND WILL BE OPEN UNTIL FRIDAY MARCH 16TH, 2018. (registration dates will only be extended if space is still available, however if the program fills up prior to March 16th, then registration will be closed and all registrations received thereafter will be placed on a waiting list).
