Classic rivals set to play for the 2018 L1 Championship Finals coming up!

Great news our League1 Men’s Azzurri squad will be playing for the 2018 League1 Championship Cup Finals this Saturday October at 3pm! This championship final is sure to be a classic matchup, as rivals Vaughan Azzurri face off against Woodbridge Strikers at the Ontario Soccer Stadium - [7601 Martin Grove Rd, Woodbridge, ON L4L 9E4].

The Vaughan Azzurri finished first in Pool A winning all of their three games with a total of 9 pts, while Woodbridge Strikers came first in Pool B with a total of 7 pts.

We are expecting a large contingent of Woodbridge supporters and in an effort to support our L1 team we are hoping that you join us for this Azzurri-vs-Strikers Classic. Vaughan Soccer will be purchasing game tickets from the League1 Administration for the Championship match and will distribute 15 tickets per REP/Competitive team free of charge (ticket distribution will be done on first come basis, REP teams were contacted earlier this week).

If you purchase at the door the tickets will cost $10 from League1, we do not control the cost since League1 Ontario will be running the event.

GO VAUGHAN! GO VAUGHAN AZZURRI!! GO AZZURRI GO!!!

Most likely the 'best-most-important-match' of the season for both teams - Mark your calendars!!! Saturday October 20 @ 3pm - Ontario Soccer Centre!
